For centuries patchouli oil has been used in countries such as Japan, China and Malaysia to treat skin problems such as dry skin, eczema and dermatitis. Lavender Oil

These essential oils are renowned for their stress relieving benefits but many don’t know that lavender can soothe the skin and even help to fight acne.  You can add a bit of water to your lavender oil then apply it directly on the acne breakout. Lavender contains potent antioxidants that can also help to counteract environmental toxins that can affect the skin.  This oil can protect your skin against the damaging rays of the sun as well. If you suffer from horrible sunburn after a long day at the beach you can also apply some lavender oil mixed with coconut oil to sooth the affected areas.

Palmarosa oil

This oil is obtained from a tropical grass which grows in India. It is also known as Turkish geranium, rosha, motia, or Indian geranium. Whichever name you know it by, the main lesson is that it is very beneficial to skin health . It can be used to treat acne, psoriasis, as well as boils, abscesses and eczema.  It is also commonly used to moisturize the skin.

1.Facial Steaming

Facial steaming doesn’t just open up your pores; it also prevents blockage, which can cause pimples. Facial steaming also helps you to shed the dead skin on your face, kills any bacteria on or underneath the skin, and it also removes makeup that might have been left behind even after using a facial wash. I would advise a facial steam at least once per week; you don’t want to do this too often, as it might dry out the natural oils in your skin.

This natural oil doesn’t exactly eliminate the pimples, but it can remove the spots or scarring that acne can leave behind. You’ll need to mix the oil with water and apply it to the spots daily to see results.

3. Honey

A half cup of honey mixed with some oatmeal makes for a great acne mask because honey contains antibiotics. You’ll need to let it sit on your face for about 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water. The honey will also leave you with glowing skin.

4. Witch Hazel

This natural remedy can dry out the pimples that might pop up on your skin. Witch Hazel is in most pharmacies and beauty supply stores. Just soak some of the liquid onto a piece of cotton and use it to gently wipe your face twice per day, or as needed. If you use over-the-counter products, you can also read the ingredients and find toners, moisturizers, etc that contain witch hazel.

5. Lemon Juice

Lemon is great in more than one way, first, it can help to dry out pimples quicker. Second, if you apply it directly to acne marks it can eventually cause them to fade.

This New Makeup Challenge Is All About Liquid Lipsticks

 We’ve seen a lot of trends with makeup, from the weird ones that make us cringe to some that are quite wearable and just fine. There are also some that are challenging and we’ve seen our favorite Youtubers doing it just for fun.

Just recently, we’ve seen some beauty vloggers doing a blinding makeup challenge and it’s full face makeup using only highlighters. Yep! The entire face is covered with only those shining shimmering beauty products. And as we all know that how highlighters are changing our makeup game.

But what if you do your whole makeup routine, only using liquid lipsticks this time? Yes! You read that right! Youtuber Amy Macedo created this whole concept of doing her entire makeup look using tons of liquid lipsticks. Who would have thought that you can use a liquid lipstick to contour and conceal? Insane right? Watch Amy’s video doing her makeup with liquid lipsticks only.

We all know how liquid lipsticks works- they dry up easily. Especially with those have from gloss to matte formula, can you imagine blending it with a beauty blender or brush? But despite the difficulty of this makeup challenge, it still inspires some our favorite beauty vloggers to do it and of course, it is all just for fun. Can you imagine Jeffree Star and MannyMUA highlighting and contouring with liquid lipsticks?

Just make sure you’re using a good primer to protect your face if you consider doing this challenge. It may cause skin irritations or possible breakouts. Yikes!

This Pizza Highlighter is Every Beauty Junkie’s Dream

Every makeup enthusiasts know how the highlighting craze has been hot. We have gone from rainbow highlighting to full face highlight – I bet some of you have already tried it. From a natural glow to that strobing-game-strong – we all know how highlighters changed our makeup game as the time goes by. Highlighters had been changing a lot, from commonly pressed to liquid and even on a stick – all forms are great to use and it just makes us love highlighting the highest points of our face even more.

But what if it comes in the form of your greatest bae – pizza! Finally! A dream come true for pizza lovers out there. You can literally “bake” your face now with a pizza highlighter and it’s the only pizza with no calories. Makeup enthusiast Gina Kay came up with this genius idea when she was trying to fix her broken press highlighter, just like any passionate makeup lovers do. Mixing it with some shimmer eyeshadows and rubbing alcohol, the result was stunning pepperoni pizza highlighter! Yum!

I know you’re wondering how you can recreate and have your own pizza highlighter. So here’s how you do it.

Step 1. Things you need

Gather all the materials you need. Basically, some old makeup that you’re going to ruin and fix. lol

• Three separate containers
• Rubbing alcohol
• Some shimmer eyeshadows and highlighters
• Some utensils
• A clean empty pan from any old makeup product

 Step 2. Creating the crust

Now to create the crust, scrape some brown shimmery eyeshadows into the container using a small spatula.

Adding loose highlighters to add some more shimmers.
|

Step 3. Inner part of the pizza

For the actual pizza, scrape a lighter shade of shimmery eyeshadows and repeat the same step in creating the crust.

Step 4. Making pepperoni

For the pepperoni toppings, scrape some red eyeshadow or a pink blush and repeat the same steps.

Step 5. Mix with rubbing alcohol

Once you have all three colors, add some rubbing alcohol on each powder to make a mousse texture.

Step 6. Transferring to the pan

Now for the fun-yet-kinda-hard part, transfer and assemble all the colors into the empty pan.

Step 7. Finishing touch

Gently press all colors together. Run the spatula across the pizza to make some slices.

And you’re done! Your very own pizza highlighter!

Kylie Jenner’s Latest Lip Kit Shades Will Make You Feel Blue

Right after Kylie Jenner released her “best nude shade ever” lipstick, she launched two (more) bold shades in addition to her ever-popular liquid lipsticks. One has a metallic finish and the other one is matte. Just when you thought the 18-year-old reality TV star will stop right there – nope! She’s unstoppable, y’all! A few days ago, Kylie teased her followers in Snapchat that… wait for it – two new shades will be added to her lip kits. She posted a photo in black and white (how mean!).

Until she finally revealed that the two new shades are in blue colors! Yep! Two new blue shades are going to be added to her fast-growing cosmetic line. She loves blue hair and now she has something from her makeup line to match it.

Skylie, is a bright turquoise color. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Kylie snapped a photo that her inspiration in creating this shade is her very own light blue Ferrari.

While the other shade is a dark vampy navy blue color, labeled as Freedom. I bet she loves 90’s goth colors.

As Kylie explains, the two blue shades are both part of her exclusive 4th of July collection. And it’ll be available this Friday!

The two additional shades are obviously different yet unique compared to her current line of liquid lipsticks. Make sure to set your alarms if you want to grab them — that is, if you’re bold enough to wear ’em.
