When choosing a foundation go for a foundation that has your undertone color, this will allow the foundation to blend better into your skin. Giving you more of an even application.You never want to see the difference in color between you’re neck and your face. This will give you a mask appearance, which let’s face it we all want to look as flawless as possible.

I recently purchased the new Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Foundation, this foundation promises a lot for being a drug store product. It promises to instantly give you a more firm radiant appearance while having Goji Berry and Caffeine as it’s main ingredients.  For those that do not know Goji Berry and Caffeine are wonderful for the skin, they help tighten your pores while giving you a more awake appearance. Which will help tighten any loose skin and blur the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. On top of it all, it is packed with SPF 18.

When i read all these claims i instantly thought okay so it is a magic potion in a bottle? For $11 i might as well give it a try, I will say it does give you a flawless appearance but it does have it’s flaws. This foundation is a liquid foundation, meaning it is medium to full coverage which is always good. For me the more the coverage the better, if I am going to be using makeup i want to look as flawless as possible. This foundation can be tricky to find your shade as they do not feature many colors, which for me is a definite flaw. I happen to fall between medium and medium light so finding my perfect shade was not the easiest thing to do.

Once I did find my perfect shade, the application was great. It is liquidity enough that you are able to blend it into the skin perfectly but it dries fast enough that it will not transfer on to any of your clothing. i applied this foundation with a stippling brush as for me it is the best way to get a full coverage flawless application.

This foundation made my skin feel great it felt healthy and glowing. It has a stain matte finish, meaning it will dry matte but it will not having a drying effect. So if you have oily skin than this foundation is perfect for you as you will not look oily or shiny at all. For those women with dry skin this foundation is good for you as well but I would use an illuminating primer if you want a more dewy finish.

When it comes to reviewing any product my first thought is how long will this product last on my face?. I applied this foundation at 8am and looked exactly the same till 6pm so the lasting power is amazing. It didn’t wear off, it doesn’t change color, it stayed in place the whole time it was on my face.
