However, just a few drops of a broad-spectrum preservative will increase the shelf life of these concoctions to between 3 and 6 months. But without the preservative, I wouldn’t use these beyond a week and only if they’d been stored in the refrigerator. One of the reasons Lush products have so many parabens in them is because they are really good preservatives.
