Mornings can feel like a race against the clock—one minute you’re hitting snooze, the next you’re scrambling to find your keys with a half-toasted bagel in hand. When life moves that fast, who has time for a 30-minute makeup routine? Luckily, looking fresh and put-together doesn’t require a million products or expert-level skills. With this 5-minute makeup routine, you can enhance your natural beauty and glow out the door in no time. Ready to look effortlessly radiant, even on your busiest days? Let’s dive in! ✨

Gorgeous in a Flash! 5-Minute Makeup for On-the-Go Glam

Time is precious, but so is looking fabulous! With just a few quick swipes and dabs, you can master the art of 5-minute makeup. Think radiant skin, wide-awake eyes, and the perfect pop of color—all in less time than it takes to brew your coffee. Here’s exactly how to get it done!

Step 1: Skip Foundation, Use Tinted Moisturizer (1 Minute) ⏳

A full-coverage foundation takes too much time to blend properly. Instead, grab a tinted moisturizer or BB cream to even out and hydrate the skin. These also blend easily when used with fingers, so there’s no need for brushes.

If you need extra coverage for a quick fix, dab a little concealer under your eyes and on blemishes. This step instantly brightens your face and makes you look more awake. Blending with your ring finger helps the concealer blend naturally into the skin without requiring extra makeup tools.

Step 2: Fluff Those Brows (30 Seconds)

Brows frame your face, so skipping eyebrow grooming can leave your look unfinished. A tinted brow gel is the fastest way to groom your brows since it adds color and hold in one swipe. Unlike a brow pencil, brow gel requires no precise application, which makes it ideal for rushed mornings.

For a more defined look, lightly fill sparse areas with a brow pencil. Soft, hair-like strokes create a natural effect with minimal effort. Spending even an extra five seconds on definition can make a noticeable difference in your overall appearance.

Step 3: Brighten Up Those Eyes (1 Minute)

A full eyeshadow routine takes too much time, but skipping eye makeup entirely can make your eyes look dull or tired. Instead, apply a neutral cream eyeshadow with your fingertip. This creamy formula blends effortlessly and adds dimension without needing brushes.

For a brighter effect, use nude or white eyeliner on your waterline. This trick minimizes redness and makes your eyes appear more awake. To tie the look together, apply a quick coat of mascara to lift and define your lashes.

Step 4: Add a Flush of Color (1 Minute)

Blush instantly brings life to your face and makes you look refreshed and healthy. A cream blush is a great option, as it blends easily with just a few taps. Additionally, using it on your lips creates a monochromatic look that pulls everything together.

If you don’t have blush, lipstick works just as well. The creamy texture blends seamlessly and gives your face a natural glow. Multi-use products like this also save time and space in your makeup bag.

Step 5: Quick Lips & Set Everything (1 Minute)

Lipstick completes the look, but precise application isn’t the top priority when you’re in a rush. A tinted lip balm or sheer lipstick works best, as both add color without requiring a mirror. Simply swipe, smudge with your finger, and you’re done!

To keep everything in place, spritz on a setting spray. This helps prevent makeup from fading, so there’s no need for frequent touch-ups later. Even a quick mist makes a big difference in your makeup’s longevity.

Bonus Hacks to Save Even More Time! ⏰

  • Keep essentials in one spot. No more digging through your makeup bag and wasting precious minutes. A streamlined setup makes mornings easier.
  • Use multi-use products. Sticking to tints, creams, and balms that work for lips, cheeks, and eyes simplifies your routine. Fewer products mean fewer steps.
  • Blend with fingers. Brushes slow you down, while fingers warm up products and make blending faster and more seamless.
  • Stick to a minimal routine. Focusing on key areas ensures a polished look without performing unnecessary steps. Skipping non-essential products saves time and keeps the final result fresh.

The 5-Minute Makeup Routine Recap

  • Minute 1: Apply tinted moisturizer + concealer
  • Minute 2: Groom brows with tinted gel
  • Minute 3: Blend cream blush on cheeks, lips, and eyelids
  • Minute 4: Swipe on cream eyeshadow + mascara
  • Minute 5: Apply lip balm + setting spray

Fab in a Flash! ⚡

Mornings don’t have to be stressful. By following these quick steps, you’ll be out the door looking fabulous in just a few minutes. No fuss, no stress—just a simple 5-minute makeup routine that works. Try it tomorrow and see how much time you save! ⏰✨

Summer Hair Goals- Lucy Hale’s Epic Bob Hairstyles https://makeuptutorials.com/summer-hair-goals-lucy-hales-epic-bob-hairstyles/ https://makeuptutorials.com/summer-hair-goals-lucy-hales-epic-bob-hairstyles/#respond Tue, 28 Jan 2025 02:04:04 +0000 https://makeuptutorials.com/?p=47148 Lucy Hale is known for her memorable role on Pretty Little Liars, but another thing she is known for is her epic bob hairstyles. No one and i mean no one can pull of a bob hairstyle like Lucy can. Don’t believe me? Check out these images below and see for yourself!

Blond Bombshell

|

Lucy  rarely goes light with her haircolor, but when she does it is absolutely stunning. This is a longer styled bob or Lob as it is called, bleached to a light shade of blond at the roots and at the front.

Blond Streaks

|

Lucy Hale wore her hair in a shoulder length bob with blond streaks peaking through her auburn locs at 2014 American Music Awards in 2014.

Blunt Wavy Bob

|

Lucy’s 2018 blunt wavy bob —which she debuted at New York fashion week this year— looks very similar to the style she wore to the AMA’s in 2014. However this time she went the ombre root instead of blond streaks.

 Shaggy bob with Bangs

|

This shaggy bob with long choppy bangs is quite a departure from Lucy’s usual styles, but it is so fresh and young it suits her perfectly.

Slicked back bob

|

Obsessed with this super short bob styled in a slicked back style? So am I!

Super short sleek bob

|

Another one of my favorite looks from the actress, this one is dark and sleek , yet edgy at the same time.

Sleek Middle Part bob

|

To achieve this look Lucy parted her shoulder length bob down the middle and used a flat iron to straighten her locs. Add a dime size amount of argon or coconut oil to add shine to your hair.

Dark Roots Bob

|

The actress kept her dark roots in tack and went lighter on the ends of her neck grazing bob. A large curling iron can give you these sexy curls.

Textured Bob

[instagram url=https://www.instagram.com/p/BIYgZRCjY0X/ hidecaption=true width=625]

The actress had a mid-length bob style here, which she styled by created large textured waves and some hairspray to keep the curls intact.

Short Ombre Bob

|

Definitely one of my favorite hairstyles on the list, this is a beautiful ombre color and the short length is perfect for those hot summer days.

Dark Choppy Bob

|

Lucy Hale opted for a deep purple lipstick to go with her dark, short  choppy bob.

Brown Bob

|

Lucy Hale went back to her signature auburn hair color for the American Music Awards. She went with a sleek middle part and dark vampy lips.

Can you rock a bob hairstyle like Lucy Hale? Tell us which one you are going to try this summer in our comment section below. We love hearing from you.

Whether your hair is long, short, straight or curly chances are you can find a headband that works beautifully with your style, no matter the occasion these. Read on for more!

Turban

|

This is one of my absolute faves, it is so chic and perfect for a casual day. Lots of cool colors and prints to choose from, and works especially great when you’re having a bad hair day.

Double strand

|

This messy hairstyle is a great option for work or a cool nighttime function after. And what goes better with these loose braids and bun than this double strand headband. Love it!

Striped

|

When your lounging at home this is perfect for keeping hair out of your face while still keeping your hair cute.

Glitzy

|

This ultra glitzy headband is a statement piece for sure so I would save it for special events such as a swanky wedding, engagement party or ball. This beautiful middle part, pinned back hair with loose waves works beautifully with the headband as well.

Colorful

|

The great thing about working out is that it keeps your body in tip top shape, the downside is that it can really messed up your hair. However these cute and colorful headbands from Urban Halo ensures that you look super cute at yoga or gym class and your hairstyle will also stay in tact.

Gypsy Headband

|

These cute floral headbands are perfect with boho braids and loose messy hair. Oh and if you have a music festival coming up this is the perfect hair accessory to pair with your outfit.

Vintage

|

Another headband that i’m absolutely obsessed with. This vintage design is so beautiful and can be dressed up or down depending on the hairstyle.

5-Minute Beauty Hacks for the Perpetually Late https://makeuptutorials.com/5-minute-beauty-hacks/ https://makeuptutorials.com/5-minute-beauty-hacks/#respond Fri, 17 Jan 2025 06:00:36 +0000 https://makeuptutorials.com/?p=66142 Oh, this morning drama: the alarm clock mocks you, the snooze button always wins, and suddenly, you’re scrambling to get ready. But here’s the tea: You’ll no longer need a full hour to look like you woke up ready to slay the day. Today, we present these five-minute beauty hacks that’ll make you look sleek, chic, and out the door before you know it. Who says you can’t have it all? ✨

5-Minute Beauty Hacks for the Perpetually Late

5-Minute Beauty Hacks: Quick Fixes for Late Mornings!

Overslept? Late meeting? Or maybe you’re just not in the mood to spend ages getting ready. No worries because these 5-minute beauty hacks are all you need. Now, let’s dive in and turn your rush hour into a runway moment. ✨

1. Multipurpose Products: Your Time-Saving MVPs

When you’re short on time, multipurpose products are lifesavers and rush-morning savers. A tinted moisturizer with SPF hydrates, evens out your skin tone and protects you from the sun. Another example is a lip-and-cheek tint that helps you look fresh and naturally flushed.

For instance, swipe a creamy blush across your cheeks, lips, and even eyelids. It blends easily and gives you a cohesive look in seconds. After all, who doesn’t love a product that does all the heavy lifting?

2. Brows in 30 Seconds: Frame It to Win It

Your brows are the unsung heroes of your face, as they structure and balance your facial features. Even if you’re in a rush, don’t skip them. A tinted brow gel can define, shape, and fill them in seconds. Just swipe it on, and you’re good to go.

If you have a little extra time, use a brow pencil for light, hair-like strokes. Pro tip? Brushed-up, fluffy brows enhance your natural beauty that you won’t need heavy makeup anymore to look great.

3. Concealer: Fake That Eight-Hour Sleep

Foundation takes time, but concealer doesn’t. When rushing, focus on areas that need the most love: dark circles, redness, or blemishes. A creamy concealer can brighten, correct, and smooth them in no time.

Dab the concealer under your eyes and around your nose, then blend it with your fingers. Your skin’s warmth helps it melt seamlessly and makes you look fresh-faced and ready to tackle the day. No one needs to know about the chaos that happened before you stepped out the door.

4. Mascara for Instant Drama

When it comes to looking awake and put-together, mascara is non-negotiable. A lengthening formula adds definition and opens up your eyes in just a few swipes. To achieve maximum lift, focus on wiggling the wand at the base of your lashes.

If time’s really tight, skip the lower lashes and focus on the upper lashes’ outer corners. The result? A fluttery, wide-eyed effect that makes you look like you’ve got it all together.

5. Glow Like You Mean It

Dewy, radiant skin is the ultimate “I’m thriving” signal—even when you’re running on caffeine fumes. Highlighter is a quick and easy way to fake that glow. Tap a creamy formula onto your cheekbones, brow bones, and nose bridge to illuminate your face.

No highlighter handy? No problem. Use a shimmery eyeshadow or even a bit of clear lip balm. The goal is a subtle sheen that catches the light and makes you shimmery and splendid.

6. Easy Lips, Big Impact

Let’s be real—lipstick can feel like too much work when you’re rushing. A tinted lip balm, however, is the ultimate lifesaver. It hydrates, adds color, and gives you that effortless, I-didn’t-even-try vibe.

If you want something with a little more oomph, swipe on a nude gloss. It’s low-maintenance and makes your lips look fuller without being fussy. For those brave enough, you can definitely rock a bold red lip. One swipe, and you’re instantly that girl.

7. Set It and Forget It

When your masterpiece is complete, lock it in with a setting spray. A couple of spritzes will lock in your makeup and add a refreshing finish. Many sprays also offer a dewy glow, so you can fake that post-yoga radiance.

No setting spray? A quick dusting of translucent powder helps manage your T-zone areas. Remember, the goal is polished—not overdone.

Bonus Hack: Prep the Night Before

Want to reduce morning stress? Do a little prep the night before. Lay out your essential products in the order you’ll use them. Keep a small bag with your essentials handy for those mornings when everything feels chaotic. An organized space can transform your mornings from rushed to relaxing. When you know exactly where everything is, you’ll save time—and sanity.

Beauty Emergencies, Solved! ✨

Running late doesn’t mean compromising on fabulousness! With these 5-minute beauty hacks, you can hit snooze and steal the show. Just keep your beauty stash stocked with these makeup essentials, and you’re good to glow. Don’t forget to share your results with us—because we LOVE a good before-and-after. ✨

Everyday Glitter Makeup: Your Shortcut to Sparkling Confidence ✨ https://makeuptutorials.com/everyday-glitter-makeup-tips/ https://makeuptutorials.com/everyday-glitter-makeup-tips/#respond Fri, 03 Jan 2025 06:00:25 +0000 https://makeuptutorials.com/?p=66070 Who doesn’t love a good sparkle moment? Glitter has a way of making everything feel splendid. But sometimes, it can also get tricky. One wrong swipe, and suddenly, you’re less chic and more “craft store explosion.” But when done right, glitter adds just the right amount of glow to elevate your everyday look. Let’s explore how everyday glitter can transform your look with subtle elegance.

Why Glitter? Why Now?

Glitter isn’t just for wild nights out anymore. These days, it’s become a versatile beauty trend for makeup lovers everywhere. A well-placed touch of sparkle—on your lids, cheekbones, or lips—adds dimension and light to your makeup without feeling overdone.

But of course, balance is everything. Too much glitter, and you risk looking like a disco ball. Too little, and your sparkle might seem unintentional. The secret is finding that sweet spot in the middle: just enough shimmer to complement your natural beauty and achieve timeless elegance.

Everyday Glitter Makeup: Your Shortcut to Sparkling Confidence ✨

How to Incorporate Everyday Glitter the Right Way ✨

Raise your hand if you’ve ever avoided glitter because you feared looking like a human arts-and-crafts project. ‍♀ Guilty! But here’s the tea: everyday glitter doesn’t have to be messy, overwhelming, or childish. The secret? A touch of sparkle done right. Here’s how to tastefully and effortlessly add glitter to your daily makeup routine:

1. The One-and-Done Glitter Lid

A single swipe of glitter eyeshadow can instantly and effortlessly transform your look. Cream or liquid formulas work best since they minimize fallout and last longer. Also, neutral shades like champagne, soft gold, or rose quartz are perfect for daytime wear.

Pro Tip: Apply glitter eyeshadow with your fingertip for maximum payoff and blend the edges with a soft brush.

2. Subtle Sparkle in the Inner Corners

Brightening your eyes’ inner corners with a bit of glitter can work wonders. It catches the light beautifully and creates a refreshed, wide-awake effect almost instantly.

Pro Tip: Dampen your brush before applying glitter for a more vibrant, long-lasting effect. Then, stick to a shade closest to your skin tone for a natural finish.

3. Sparkling Eyeliner

If you’re not ready for a full glitter look, swap your regular eyeliner for a glittery one. A thin cat-eye or a smudged line with sparkle can add subtle drama without overwhelming your makeup.

Pro Tip: Pair glitter eyeliner with matte eyeshadow for balance. This contrast ensures the sparkle stays the focus.

4. Glitter Lip Topper

A swipe of glitter gloss over your favorite lipstick can add shine and dimension to your lips. For a polished look, stick to neutral or monochromatic tones that complement your lip color.

Pro Tip: Opt for a fine shimmer instead of chunky glitter. This keeps the look classy and prevents distraction.

5. Glitter on the Cheeks (But Keep It Subtle)

For a soft glow, mix a bit of glitter into your liquid highlighter or apply it directly to your cheekbones. This technique works beautifully for evening events and creates a radiant, luminous effect.

Pro Tip: Less is more when it comes to cheek glitter. Think of it as an accent, not the main event.

Do’s and Don’ts of Everyday Glitter

While glitter can transform your look, a few rules will ensure your sparkle stays chic and wearable:

Do:

  • Pair glitter with neutral tones to keep it classy.
  • Focus on one feature at a time, like your eyes or lips, to avoid overdoing it.
  • Use high-quality, cosmetic-grade glitter made specifically for the face.

Don’t:

  • Layer glitter on glitter. Keep the rest of your makeup matte for contrast.
  • Skip primer. Glitter needs a solid base to stay in place all day.
  • Forget about cleanup! Micellar water and tape are lifesavers for stray sparkles.

Glitter for Every Occasion

One of the best things about glitter is its versatility. No matter the occasion, there’s always a way to work some sparkle into your look:

  • Workday Chic: Add a light shimmer on the eyelids or a thin line of glitter eyeliner for just enough shimmer to feel polished but professional. In fact, neutral tones like taupe or champagne will keep you looking sharp.
  • Casual Day Out: For a playful vibe, try a glitter lip topper or a sparkly highlight in your inner corners. These small touches are quick to apply and make a big impact.
  • Night Out: This is your chance to go bold! Experiment with layered glitter eyeshadow, a cheek highlight, or even a glittery lip. Dim lighting makes daring choices shine, so don’t hold back!

Common Glitter Fears (And How to Fix Them!)

Glitter can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. Here’s how to overcome some common concerns:

  • Fear of Fallout: Use a glitter primer or glue to lock everything in place. Applying glitter with a damp brush also helps reduce mess.
  • Worried It’s Too Much? Start small. A hint of shimmer in your inner corners or a thin glitter liner is a great way to ease into the trend.
  • Allergic Reactions: Stick to cosmetic-grade glitter and always do a patch test before applying anything new to your skin.

Glow Beyond the Ordinary✨

Everyday glitter adds a touch of magic to your daily look. A swipe here, a dab there, and suddenly, your makeup becomes alive and glowing. So why not add a little shimmer today? This season, even the tiniest twinkle can make a lasting impression.

FAQs

  1. Can I wear glitter at work? Yes! Stick to subtle options like glitter eyeliner or a soft shimmer shadow.
  2. What’s the best glitter for beginners? Start with pressed glitter or glitter-infused cream shadows. They’re less messy and easier to control.
  3. How do I prevent glitter fallout? Use a sticky glitter primer and press the product onto your skin.
  4. Is glitter bad for my skin? Only if it’s not cosmetic-grade. Avoid craft glitter, which can be abrasive.
  5. Can mature skin wear glitter? Absolutely! Opt for fine shimmer rather than chunky glitter.
  6. How do I remove glitter? Use micellar water or an oil-based cleanser.
  7. What’s the best glitter color for everyday wear? Neutral tones like champagne, bronze, and rose gold are universally flattering.
  8. Can I use glitter with sensitive skin? Yes, but patch-test first and use gentle formulas.
  9. How do I layer glitter products? Start with a cream or liquid base, then press powder glitter on top.
  10. What’s the best tool for applying glitter? Use your fingers for maximum control or a flat brush for precision.

5 Easy Makeup Tutorials From PixiWoo | Makeup Tutorials https://makeuptutorials.com/easy-makeup-tutorials-pixiwoo/ https://makeuptutorials.com/easy-makeup-tutorials-pixiwoo/#respond Fri, 06 Dec 2024 20:31:36 +0000 https://makeuptutorials.com/?p=39181 There are times when we need quick and easy makeup tutorials to follow. If you’re running late or just want to keep it simple, try these easy makeup looks from Pixiwoo!

Easy Makeup Tutorials You Can Do in 10 Minutes or Less

For days when we’re in a hurry or just want our face to take a breather, we rely on our go-to quick and easy looks. Now when I say quick and easy, I’m not even kidding here! I’ve rounded up five of the easiest looks from one of our favorite YouTube vloggers Pixiwoo, and you can do these looks in less than 10 minutes! Don’t believe me? Check out these easy makeup tutorials for natural, daytime, and nighttime looks.

1. Easy Natural Makeup | Easy Makeup Tutorials

Need to run some errands but do not want to look like you just got out of bed? This will probably be your new go-to easy makeup look!

Here’s how to pull it off:

Step 1: Apply foundation and fill in brows.

If you’re really in a hurry, you can apply foundation using your fingers. Gently apply the foundation on the entire face. Once done, work on filling in your eyebrows.

Step 2: Apply concealer

Sometimes foundation is enough but if you feel the need to apply concealer under the eyes, you can use your ring finger to do so. You can also apply concealer on the lids if needed. This will help brighten your eyes, especially if you have dark undereye circles.

Step 3: Apply mascara.

When doing simple and natural makeup looks, it is very important to apply mascara on the lashes even if you don’t have eyeliner. Mascara makes the eyes pop!

Step 4: Apply blush and lip balm.

We highly recommend using a lighter shade of blush for this look, perhaps a soft pink or peach depending on what suits your skin tone. So apply blush on the apples of your cheek and finish off with a lip balm/lip gloss. Pick a balm or gloss with a tint of color so your face doesn’t appear washed-out.

And there you have it, an easy makeup tutorial for a natural look! Here’s the finished look:

If you need more help with the steps, check out the video below:

2. Quick Everyday Makeup | Easy Makeup Tutorials

Let’s just face it, mornings are pretty hectic. If you’re a mom, you’ll make the most out the rare 10 minutes you get. So this is another quick and easy makeup tutorial for those who need a super simple and easy-to-do everyday look!

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Apply concealer, liquid foundation or BB cream.

Some women do not like wearing foundation in the morning while some aren’t bothered with it. In any case, start by applying foundation, BB cream, or just concealer, whichever you prefer. Now if you feel like you need a bit more coverage, you can use powder foundation on top.

Step 2: Fill in the eyebrows and apply mascara.

Using an eyebrow pencil, fill in your eyebrows. You can also use an eyebrow gel to smoothen out the hair. After that, curl your lashes and apply an ample amount of mascara.

Step 3: Apply a lip conditioner or lip balm.

In this tutorial, lip conditioner was used on the lips to give it a nice, subtle glow. However, if you prefer using a lip balm or gloss, that will be good too.

Step 4: Finish off with blush or bronzer.

If you want a bit of a sunkissed glow, you can apply bronzer. Dust off some bronzer on the forehead, cheeks, and other parts of the face. If you want to keep it simple, a light blush is good.

And that’s it, you already have another quick everyday look to do! Here’s the finished look:

Check out the step-by-step tutorial here:

3. Perfect Easy Smokey Eye Makeup | Easy Makeup Tutorials

Everybody needs to learn how to do the smokey eye. Yes, even makeup beginners! But don’t worry, this perfect smokey eye is so easy, it takes less than 5 minutes to pull off!

Let’s begin!

Step 1: Apply eyeliner and blend.

Usually, smokey eye makeup will require the use of dark eyeshadow. But since we’re taking the easy route, a Kohl pencil is the perfect tool. Cover the eyelids and lash line (upper and lower) with Kohl pencil. Don’t worry, as this type of pencil is soft and is great for buffing. After application, get an eyeshadow brush and buff the color into the lids as well as the bottom lash line.

Step 2: Line the lash lines again.

Since this will be an intense eye makeup look, line the upper and lower lash line again with your Kohl pencil. This time, making sure that you cover the inner corner of the eye.

Step 3: Apply eyeshadow and line.

Now apply eyeshadow over the lid and under the eye. In this tutorial, Pixiwoo used a shimmery dark olive green eyeshadow. You can also use other dark shades of shadow if you want. After the eyeshadow, get your Kohl pencil and line the outer corner of the eye and then buff again.

Step 4: Apply mascara and define the eyes more.

Next, apply mascara on your top and bottom lashes. Follow that up with applying a bit of a peach colored blush on the socket of the eyes. This will help define the smokey eye makeup more.

Step 5: Fill in the brows and wear false eyelashes.

To finish the look, fill in the brows and put on falsies. Although wearing false eyelashes is optional, it definitely adds drama to the eyes in an instant!

So there you have it, easy and perfect smokey eyes for your night out! Check out the finished look:

4. Easy Blake Lively Makeup Look | Easy Makeup Tutorials

Why a Blake Lively look you ask? It’s because every time we see her, her skin looks healthy and glowing…and that is the perfect look we need to learn this spring!

To do this look, follow these steps:

Step 1: Apply BB cream and concealer

Using foundation can look heavy for this look, so let’s opt for a BB cream or tinted moisturizer instead. Remember, we want to achieve a dewy look and not a matte finish. Now apply concealer under the eyes to hide dark undereye circles for a healthier look.

Step 2: Apply eyeshadow.

Use a nude eyeshadow as your base eyeshadow and blend all over the lid and under the eyes. Add a bit of shimmer as well so the eyes won’t look too flat. Just don’t overdo the shimmer. Remember, Blake Lively looks like she doesn’t wear tons of makeup and it’s always a natural glowing look with her.

Step 3: Apply eyeliner.

Using an eyeliner pencil, apply eyeliner on the outer corner of the eye and then blend it–just to give the eye more depth. Also put eyeliner on the bottom lashline, just a quarter of the way from the outer corner. Blend it as well.

Step 4: Apply mascara and fill in the brows.

Apply mascara on the top and bottom lashes and proceed with filling in the brows.

Step 5: Apply blush and lipstick.

It’s all about the fresh and glowing makeup so we’re sticking to a soft pink blush. Apply on the apples of the cheeks and then apply a pink shade of lipstick as well. It’s best to go for lipstick that has a bit of shimmer and shine.

Woot! Wasn’t that easy? Now we can recreate Blake Lively’s natural and glowing makeup anytime! Here’s the finished look:

5. Easy Scarlett Johansson Glamour Makeup | Easy Makeup Tutorials

So we’ve covered the Blake Lively look, let’s move on to the Scarlett Johansson look which is bolder and more glam.

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Apply foundation and fill in the brows.

For a glam look, you will need something with more coverage so we need to use foundation for this one. Apply foundation with a foundation brush to make sure everything is blended well. Next, fill in the brows with an eyebrow pencil. Don’t make the brows to dark, the brows just need definition.

Step 2: Apply eyeshadow.

In this tutorial, Pixiwoo used the Urban Decay primer potion as it had a shimmery nude finish to it. But if you have other similar eyeshadow at home, that’s fine. So apply it all over the lid. And then get a black eyeshadow and line the lashline using an angled brush. Extend the line to create a flick or a wing.

Step 3: Apply mascara and wear false eyelashes.

It’s a glam look so we need our lashes to be fabulous too. Apply several coats of mascara and then wear false eyelashes to add drama to the eyes.

Step 4: Apply concealer and blush.

Apply concealer under the eyes and anywhere you think you need it. You must achieve flawless skin with this look. After that, apply blush on the cheeks.

Step 5: Apply powder and lipstick.

Apply pressed powder or finishing powder over the face to set the makeup and hold it in place. And then, finish off the look by applying red lipstick.

Wow! I didn’t know you can do a glam look this easy! I love it! Here’s the finished look:

Transform Your Look: How to Take Your Makeup From Day to Night https://makeuptutorials.com/take-makeup-from-day-to-night/ https://makeuptutorials.com/take-makeup-from-day-to-night/#respond Wed, 30 Oct 2024 14:48:27 +0000 https://makeuptutorials.com/?p=34874 Transforming your look from day to night has never been easier! With this super simple makeup tutorial, you’ll be able to take your look from simple to sophisticated in just a few easy steps.

If you’re looking for a quick and simple way to take your makeup from day to night, you will LOVE this tutorial! In just a few steps, you can turn your pretty daytime look into a sophisticated nighttime look. I’m super excited to share this tutorial with you guys – it’s the perfect way to go from work or school to a night out, and it takes almost no time! The secret? A long-lasting foundation to keep your skin looking flawless, and a moisture mist to keep your skin feeling fresh! Check out the steps below to get started on your look.

The Effortless Way to Take Your Look From Day to Night

This day-to-night makeup tutorial is super simple and totally effortless. I love how easy these looks are to achieve – it’s the perfect tutorial for beauty gurus of all levels! Best of all, you don’t have to remove any of your makeup to go from day to night – just add eyeshadow and lipstick!

For this makeup tutorial, you will need a neutral eyeshadow and light lip color for daytime, and a black eyeshadow and dark lip color for nighttime! Most importantly, you’ll need a great primer to make your foundation last all day and keep your skin looking flawless. Oh, and did I mention the amazing Nu Skin Moisture Mist? It’s seriously amazing. This facial spray is the secret to making your makeup look fresh and clean. Amazing, right?

Are you ready to take your look from day to night? Grab your favorite eyeshadow palette and give this tutorial a try!

The Daytime Look:

Step 1: Apply foundation.

Day to Night Step One

Use a foundation brush to apply an even layer of primer across your skin (I LOVE this one by Smashbox). This step is a must – primer makes your skin super smooth, and it keeps your foundation looking flawless all day and night. Next, apply liquid foundation and dust on your favorite setting powder. (My faves are Halo Perfecting Powder by Smashbox and Luxury Powder by Ben Nye.) Finish with a soft pink blush on your cheekbones– I used the pink blush on this NYX Cheek Contour Duo Palette.

Step 2: Add a neutral eyeshadow.

Day to Night Step Two

I opted for a subtle bronze shadow, but you can totally feel free to go more gold or pink. Whatever color you choose, applying eyeshadow primer first is a must! I used a mini blending sponge to apply Inglot Eye Makeup Base to my eyelids before applying Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in Bad to the Bronze.

Step 3: Apply eyeliner and mascara.

Day to Night Step Three

Next, make your eyes pop by applying a wing of black eyeliner to each eyelid. To make this the perfect day-to-night look, I chose a waterproof eyeliner pen by KleanColor (it glides on easily and lasts forever!). After curling my lashes I applied Lash Sensation by Maybelline to make my lashes look long and full.

Step 4: Fill in your brows.

Day to Night Step Four

I love this step! There’s something about a filled-in brow that just really completes a makeup look.  I used a tinted brow gel that sculpts and defines – Sculpting Brow Mascara by Maybelline.

Step 5: Apply lipstick.

Day to Night Step Five

I opted for a pretty pink for my daytime lip color, but you can choose your favorite. KleanColor has a ton of matte colors that are perfect for this look!

The Nighttime Look

Step 1: Spray face with moisture mist.

Day to Night Step Six

To take your look from day to night, give your skin a few sprays of this amazing Moisture Mist by Nu Skin. Even after a long day, your skin will feel fresh and clean!

Step 2: Contour your cheekbones.

Day to Night Step Seven

Grab the same NYX Cheek Contour Duo Palette you used for your daytime look, then use the dark brown to contour your cheekbones. Add some to the outside edges of your face to make your skin pop!

Step 3: Apply a dark eyeshadow.

Day to Night Step Eight

You’ll LOVE this next step. Grab your favorite black eyeshadow and apply it to each of your eyelids. I used a matte black shadow by NYX to give my eyes a dramatic pop.

Step 4: Apply a dark lip color.

Day to Night Step Nine

The perfect night out calls for the perfect dark lip! Complete your nighttime look with a bold red lip color (this burgundy one by KleanColor is my favorite!).

Step 5: Your look is complete!

Day to Night Step Ten

Ta-da! With your dark eye makeup and your bold red lip, you’re ready for the perfect night out! All it took were a few steps to look absolutely flawless.

BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial https://makeuptutorials.com/bh-cosmetics-eyeshadow-palette-makeup/ https://makeuptutorials.com/bh-cosmetics-eyeshadow-palette-makeup/#respond Fri, 04 Oct 2024 08:47:39 +0000 https://makeuptutorials.com/?p=32527 When I check out makeup looks online, I rarely see any natural makeup tutorial, so I thought I’ll create one for you with my BH Cosmetics eyeshadow palette. I recently got the BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo palette which I reviewed for you, and this is what I’m using today.

Personally, I like creating more natural looks not just for the day but for the night time as well, especially with how humid the days have been as of late. When creating a natural makeup look I keep in mind my activity for the day and how the makeup will wear over an extended period of time.

BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

I don’t like how cakey makeup looks and I certainly do not like how it feels either, so my philosophy is to use as little product as possible.

Check out my natural makeup look tutorial using my BH Cosmetics eyeshadow palette:

Step 1: Apply Transition Shade

Transition Shade | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Transition Color Application | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Apply the transition shade over the eye crease. This is the first thing I do whenever I apply eye makeup. I’m using the Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease brush in for applying the transition shade which is the yellowish color.  It’s really hard to discuss the shades of the BH Cosmetics eyeshadow palette by Shaaanxo because the shades don’t include names!

Step 2: Define Your Eyes

Define WIth Brick Red | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Define | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Apply the matte Brick-red color on the crease lightly for a bit of definition and blend. Here, I used the Zoeva 231 Luxe Petite Crease brush.

Step 3: Line and Tight line

Line & Tight line |BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Tightline | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Apply a liquid liner close to the upper lash line and tight line your eyes for a subtle eye definition. I used two types of eyeliners here. The first one was a pen type eyeliner from Mojolica Majorca. I like this one because it provides precision line with its ultra fine tip. I tight lined with the Eye of Horus Eye Pencil in Smokey Black, to make sure my eyeliner won’t budge.

Step 4: Open Up Your Eyes

Open Up Your Eyes | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Curl your lashes and apply mascara to open up your eyes. To make sure my eye makeup will pop, I curled and applied a curling mascara.

Step 5: Brow Game On

Brow Game On | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Fill in your brows just enough that it seems fuller but not drawn on. Now, your makeup will never be complete without your brows groomed of course. Frame your eyes with your eyebrows! For this step, I used the K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow Pen. This product is one of the most long lasting eyebrow product you can find in the market. I love how it evenly deposits the pigment on my eyebrows without looking over made.

Step 6: Don’t Forget The Lower Lash

Don't forget your lower lash | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Lower Lash Mascara | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Give your eyes depth by applying a light hand of the brick red color on the lower lash line and mascara on the lower lashes. You want to make sure your eye makeup is balanced. You don’t want a heavy top or a heavy bottom.

Step 7: Clean Base

Clean Base | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Apply a light to medium coverage foundation all over. For this tutorial, I applied my eye makeup first, using of course, the BH Cosmetics eyeshadow palette, before applying my base makeup.

Step 8: Contour and Blush

Contour Application | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Blush Application | BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette | Natural Makeup Look Tutorial

Contour lightly where needed, in my case, I’m only contouring my nose line because I have such a small face that contouring my cheekbones will make me look unhealthy. Apply a natural shade of blush on the apples of your cheeks. I used a combination of a sheer pink and peach blush to give my face dimension.

Step 9: Apply a Sheer Pink Lipstick

Apply a sheer pink-toned lip color, in this case, the 1st lip shade on the BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo palette. Set with a translucent powder and you’re done.

Here’s the finished look:

Creating a natural makeup look requires less product with maximum impact for a healthy-looking makeup throughout the day.
